1. manner - how (e.g. slowly, quickly)

2. frequency - how often (e.g. often, never)

3. degree - how much (e.g. very, a little)

4. time - when (e.g. today, soon)

5. place - where (e.g. here, there)

6. direction – which way (e.g. left, right)
