Woman :   No problem. I love to come here. There are so many different stores! I can get all shopping done in one place.

Man :   OK. I’m going to the electronics store. I need to buy a computer for new job.

Woman :   I thought you already had a computer.

Man :   I do, but I really need a laptop – something small that I can take with me everywhere.

Salesclerk :   Sure, over here; these just came in. There are a few that look almost new. And you can’t beat the price.

Man :   Oh, sorry, not a suit jacket. I need something I can wear skiing.

Salesclerk :   Oh. Well, we have some ski jackets over here. How about this blue one? You can zip it all the way up, and it’ll keep you really warm.

Man :   That does look warm. It’s perfect. I’ll take it.

Woman :   I need to get a book for vacation. Have you read anything good lately?

Man :   I just read a great history book. It had lots of good information. As a matter of fact, I bought it on that Web site you’re looking at. Do you want to borrow it for your trip?

Woman :   Uh, thanks anyway. I want something fun to read on the beach.

Man :   Oh, look. It says “Click here for novels.” I bet you’ll find something fun there.

Woman :   Oh, wow, science fiction! This is what I’m talking about. I love science fiction.

Woman :   No, I have to have blue. I have a skirt I want to wear it with. Brown wouldn’t really go with the skirt, and stripes don’t look very good on me.

Salesclerk :   I’m sorry, miss. We don’t have the blue one in your size.

Woman :   Well, I guess I won’t but one today, then. Thank you, anyway.

Wife :   It costs twenty dollars for them to send it to you. I guess you should have bought it at the mall.
