Pluses

1. Engaged and dynamic learning. The approach used in classes is active. Passive learning and boredom are not part of the process, as meaningful progress is unlikely to occur without engagement.

2. Focus on understanding and application. Lessons do not consist of simply “going through” the material. It is essential that each learner understands the content and is able to apply the language in practice.

3. Punctuality. Lessons begin and end on time.

4. Quality and variety of materials. Learning materials are carefully selected, regularly updated, and continuously expanded.

5. Regular assessment. Previously studied material is tested on a regular basis, including vocabulary (translation into English) and grammar. Most tests are reviewed together with the teacher immediately after completion.

6. Real-time vocabulary tracking. Words and phrases that arise during the lesson are recorded by the teacher in a shared document, accessible to the learner in real time.

7. Flexible course continuity. The learner may pause or discontinue the course before completion. The only request is to provide at least one week’s notice. Returning to the course at a later stage is always welcome.

8. No unsolicited communication. Contact details are never used for advertising, cold calling, or spam, and are not shared with third parties.

9. Flexible technical setup. Lessons are conducted using platforms that best suit the learner, such as Google Meet, Zoom, Telegram or WhatsApp. Preferences regarding camera use are also taken into account.

10. Confidentiality. All discussions remain strictly confidential. Professional contexts and client-related information are not disclosed. Company names and client identities are not published unless explicitly approved.

11. Transparency of progress. All tests and progress reports are available to learners online.

Minuses

1. Strict adherence to schedule. Lessons begin exactly at the agreed time. Starting earlier is generally not possible without prior arrangement.

2. Clear time boundaries. Even when a discussion is engaging, the lesson concludes as scheduled. This ensures consistency, focus, and respect for all commitments.

3. Professional focus. The work is centred on learning. Personal matters are not part of the process, and communication remains within a professional context.

4. No entertainment-based format. Lessons are designed for focused work rather than informal or entertainment-oriented activities.

5. Results-oriented approach. If progress is limited, adjustments are made to the programme, level, or approach. If meaningful improvement still does not occur, it may be appropriate to start looking for another instructor.
